Playing for Time"It is really hard to do comedy; it takes a lot of energy and focus. It's rather like music: It's a lot of hitting notes precisely."
"It's the thing that you do well that brings you to prominence. The very thing that brings you to success can also be like a curse, because then people think that's all you can do."
"I wish I didn't have to live up to anything."
"Acting is like a high wire act. Your margin for error is very slim."
Christine at 61st Emmy Awards - 2010

| I'm sorry if this might be a little late but I just got around to renting this movie and checking out the 'extras' in it. Christine does come out in 'the making of the bounty hunter'. She can be seen making a blooper in an alternate angle of the scene in which she slaps Milo. Of course, Butler has something to say about her:

quote:When the Emmy-nominated procedural returns this fall, Stern, Lockhart & Gardener will be in the midst of merging with another firm. The ensuing shakeup throws “everyone for a loop,” reveals executive producer Robert King, “[especially partners] Will [Josh Charles] and Diane [Christine Baranski]. And Alicia [Julianna Margulies], who thought she was [in the clear], once again has to prove herself in new surroundings.”

quote:A double nominee for supporting actress on "The Good Wife" and guest actress for "Big Bang Theory," Christine Baranski couldn't have been more shocked. "It's so cool I've been able to act in such different styles," she said. Being able to "keep that comedic ball in the air" and still be recognized for dramatic acting was often an incredible challenge. "At one point, I was memorizing lines for "Big Bang" and pages for courtroom scenes on "Good Wife," she said. After enjoying a "liquid lunch" with her daughter Thursday, Baranski said the celebrating would continue into the night. "Dinner out and more wine," she said. "You're kind of dumb if you don't make a point of enjoying all of this!"

Quote:
"I'll tell you what's delightful about it -- it's my first time on a television series playing a serious role," she said. "Because everyone knows me for the comedic roles. So being nominated for a dramatic role and not just comedy is great. That's really special."
